abstract = {El objetivo de esta tesis doctoral es realizar un análisis exploratorio y
diagnóstico, de tipo empírico, de la situación actual de la educación musical en las
escuelas de educación primaria de las ciudades de Wuhan (China), desde la
perspectiva y opinión de los maestros de música de estas escuelas. El enfoque de
investigación empleado es de tipo cuantitativo y cualitativo, utilizando un método de
investigación empírico-analítico de carácter transversal-descriptivo. En la
investigación participaron 426 maestros de música de educación primaria de
Wuhan. Se ha aplicado el Cuestionario sobre la Situación de la educación musical
en educación primaria en Pekín y Shanghái (China), empleado con anterioridad en
la tesis doctoral de Fang Wang (2018). Este cuestionario proviene de la adaptación
cultural realizada en el Cuestionario sobre la situación de la educación musical en
las escuelas elementales públicas de Puerto Rico, de López-León y Lorenzo (López-
León at al., 2015). Dicho instrumento cuenta con propiedades psicométricas
calculadas a través de validez y fiabilidad.
Entre los 426 participantes se seleccionaron para realizar entrevistas siete
profesores y siete profesoras de distintos grupos de edad, que enseñaban a
alumnos de diferentes cursos. La entrevista se ha adaptado de la empleada por
Noemí (2016), siendo una entrevista semiestructurada.
Así, este trabajo pretende investigar la situación actual de la educación musical en
las escuelas primarias de Wuhan, analizar sus principales problemas y explorar
soluciones teóricas. Proponiendo cumplimentar un cuestionario a los profesores de
música de primaria de 15 distritos de Wuhan, se analizan diferentes aspectos en
función de las distintas categorías de preguntas formuladas, con el fin de identificar los problemas que existen para los profesores de música en esta etapa y hacer
sugerencias sobre cómo resolver los problemas de la educación en las escuelas
primarias de Wuhan, esperando desempeñar un papel en la promoción del
desarrollo saludable de la educación musical en sus escuelas primarias. El trabajo
se divide en seis partes, la primera introduce los antecedentes de la educación en
China, centrándose en las leyes y normativas chinas relacionadas con la educación,
así como en el sistema educativo chino. La segunda parte presenta la educación
primaria en China, centrándose en la organización y estructura de la educación
primaria, así como en el desarrollo y la situación actual de los profesores de
primaria. La tercera parte introduce la educación musical china, en la que se
describe la evolución de esta desde la antigüedad hasta nuestros días, así como la
música de Confucio y la música budista, que han tenido la influencia más profunda
en la educación musical china, y se centra en la educación musical primaria china y
en la situación actual de la educación musical primaria en Wuhan. La cuarta parte
es el Planteamiento de la investigación y método, la quinta son los Resultados y la
sexta parte la Discusión, Conclusiones y propuestas de mejora.},
abstract = {The objective of this doctoral thesis is to carry out an empirical exploratory
and diagnostic analysis of the current situation of music education in primary schools
in the cities of Wuhan (China), from the perspective and opinion of the music
teachers of these schools. The research approach employed is quantitative and a
cross-sectional-descriptive empirical-analytical research method was used. A total of
426 elementary music teachers from Wuhan participated in the research. In this
research, the Questionnaire on the Situation of Music Education in Primary
Education in Beijing and Shanghai, China, previously used in the doctoral
dissertation of Fang Wang (2018), is applied. This questionnaire comes from the
cultural adaptation made in the Questionnaire on the Situation of Music Education in
Public Elementary Schools in Puerto Rico by López-León and Lorenzo (López-León
et al., 2015). Said instrument has psychometric properties calculated through validity
and reliability. Among these 426 participants, seven male and seven female teachers
of different age groups and teaching students of different grades were also selected
for the interviews. This interview adapted from music education in primary education
from Noemí's final degree work (Noemí, 2016), being the chosen method the semistructured
qualitative interview.
Thus, this paper aims to investigate the current situation of music education in
Wuhan primary schools, analyze its main problems and explore theoretical solutions.
By proposing a questionnaire primary music teachers in 15 districts of Wuhan,
different aspects of primary music teachers are analyzed according to the different
categories of questions asked, in order to identify the problems that exist for music
teachers at this stage, and make suggestions on how to solve the problems of education in Wuhan primary schools, hoping to play a role in promoting the healthy
development of music education in their primary schools. The thesis is divided into
six parts, the first of which introduces the background of education in China, focusing
on Chinese laws and regulations related to education, as well as the Chinese
education system. The second part introduces primary education in China, focusing
on the organization and structure of primary education, as well as the development
and current situation of primary school teachers. The third part introduces Chinese
music education, describing the evolution of Chinese music education from ancient
times to the present day, as well as Confucian music and Buddhist music, which
have had the most profound influence on Chinese music education, and focusing on
Chinese primary music education and the current situation of primary music
education in Wuhan. The fourth part is Research Approach and Method, and the fifth
part is Result. The sixth part is Discussion and Conclusions.},
