abstract = {En este trabajo presentamos un bosquejo del paisaje sonoro de los gritos callejeros de Granada en un arco temporal que abarca desde mediados del siglo XIX hasta mediados del siglo XX. Partiendo de los escritos de la aristócrata, escritora y viajera Lady Emmeline Stuart Wortley (1806-1855), se presentan diversos testimonios de gritos o pregones callejeros, recogidos por Afán de Ribera, Surroca Grau, Bonifacio Gil y Alan Lomax en transcripciones y grabaciones de los siglos XIX y XX, tratando de mostrar la dimensión sonora perdida de épocas pasadas, la importancia de su estudio para el conocimiento de la sociedad, economía y costumbres y para aportar una historia sonora de espacios que no solo nos hablen del pasado desde su apariencia, sino también desde su sonoridad.},
abstract = {In this paper we present an outline of the soundscape of street cries in Granada over a time span from the mid -19th century to the mid-20th century. Starting with the writings of the aristocrat, writer and traveler Lady Emmeline Stuart Wortley (1806-1855), various testimonies of street cries are presented, collected by Afán de Ribera, Surroca Grau, Bonifacio Gil and Alan Lomax in transcriptions and recordings from the 19th and 20th centuries, trying to show the lost sound dimension of past eras, the relevance of their study for the knowledge of society, economy and customs and to provide a sound history of spaces that not only tell us about the past from their appearance, but also from their sound.},
