abstract = {Partiendo de la noción de "Relectura Feminista de la Caza de Brujas (RFCB)", el ensayo propone una lectura de las representaciones feministas de la bruja en relación con cuestiones amorosas y sexoafectivas. Para ello, acude a cómo las brujas son construidas como expertas en materia amorosa desde las primeras representaciones antiguas, con lo que se señalan los temas que serán revisitados, en la literatura contemporánea, desde ópticas feministas. Este marco es aplicado al análisis de tres narrativas mexicanas de reciente publicación, en que aparecen personajes de brujas imbricadas en tramas que vinculan el amor y el romance con la violencia y el sufrimiento: Temporada de huracanes (Fernanda Melchor, 2017), Brujas (Brenda Lozano, 2021) y Medea me cantó un corrido (Dahlia de la Cerda, 2024).},
abstract = {Based on the notion of "Feminist Rereading of the Witch Hunt (FRWH)", this essay proposes a reading of feminist representations of the witch in relation to love and affective-sexual issues. To do this, it examines how witches have been constructed as experts in matters of love since the earliest ancient representations, highlighting the themes that will be revisited in contemporary literature from feminist perspectives. This framework is applied to the analysis of three recently published Mexican narratives, in which witch characters are woven into plots that link love and romance with violence and suffering: Temporada de huracanes (Fernanda Melchor, 2017), Brujas (Brenda Lozano, 2021), and Medea me cantó un corrido (Dahlia de la Cerda, 2024). Through this representation, it will be shown how critical discourses surrounding romantic love are mobilized, revealing the feminist concerns of the present, which are channeled through the updating or rewriting of the witch character.},
