abstract = {El largo proceso de adhesión al lenguaje del Movimiento Moderno, que conlleva un espinoso abandono del más reconfortante código ecléctico tardío, hace que las Exposiciones adquieran un rol fundamental por su aporte didáctico y comunicativo. Durante varios años coexisten la tradición y la innovación, hecho que acarrea conflictos: un auténtico choque entre generaciones, amén de entre diferentes conceptos de arquitectura, materiales y formas. En 1926 se inaugura en Turín la Mostra Internazionale di Edilizia, menos estudiada que la más afamada Esposizione Nazionale Italiana de 1928, que marcará la aparición en escena de una joven generación de arquitectos. El clima cultural turinés, impregnado de influencias francesas y centroeuropeas, supone una savia vital para la Mostra de 1926, estructurada en tres secciones: “Architettura”, en el Palacete de la Società Promotrice di Belle Arti, “Edilizia propriamente detta” y “Applicazioni Elettriche” instaladas en el Palacio del Giornale.},
abstract = {The lengthy process of embracing the language of the Modern Movement −which involves a thorny abandonment of the more comforting late eclectic style– gave exhibitions a fundamental role for their didactic and communicative contribution. For several years, tradition and innovation coexisted, leading to conflicts: a true clash between generations, as well as between different concepts of architecture, materials, and forms. In 1926, the International Architecture Expo was inaugurated in Turin; it is less studied than the more renowned Italian National Exhibition of 1928, which marks the emergence of a young generation of architects. The cultural climate of Turin –imbued with French and Central European influences– serves as vital nourishment for the 1926 Expo, structured in three sections: “Architecture”, held in the palazzo of the Società Promotrice di Belle Arti; and 
“Construction” and “Electrical Applications” in Palazzo del Giornale.},
