In this work, introducing a time-dependent parameter, we analyze a Lax-type pair system for the coefficients of the three term relations. We also deduce several characterizations relating the Lax-type pair, the shape of the weight, Stieltjes function, moments, a differential equation for the weight, and the bidimensional Toda-type systems.}, organization = {Universidad de Granada}, organization = {Portuguese Government FCT/MCTES, DOI: 10.54499/UIDB/00324/2020}, organization = {University of Aveiro}, organization = {Portuguese Foundation for Science and Technology (FCT) DOI: 10.54499/UIDB/04106/2020}, organization = {IMAG-María de Maeztu CEX2020-001105-M}, organization = {Research Group Goya FQM-384}, publisher = {Elsevier}, keywords = {Two variable orthogonal polynomials}, keywords = {2D Toda lattice}, keywords = {Block Lax pairs}, title = {Lax-type pairs in the theory of bivariate orthogonal polynomials}, doi = {10.1016/j.laa.2024.03.020}, author = {Branquinho, Amílcar and Foulquié-Moreno, Ana and Pérez Fernández, Teresa Encarnación and Piñar González, Miguel Ángel}, }
