abstract = {Este conjunto de datos recoge información sobre la mortalidad por suicidio en España entre los años 1998 y 2022, desagregada por grupo de edad quinquenal y sexo. La base de datos se ha elaborado a partir de estadísticas oficiales del Instituto Nacional de Estadística (INE). El archivo consta de dos hojas de cálculo: La hoja "Nacionales" presenta, para cada combinación de año, sexo y grupo de edad, el número total de suicidios registrados y la población correspondiente a nivel nacional. La hoja "CCAA" amplía esta información incluyendo el desglose por comunidad autónoma (CCAA), para los años 1998 a 2021, manteniendo las variables de año, sexo, edad, recuento y población. La publicación de esta base de datos tiene como objetivo facilitar el análisis estadístico y epidemiológico del suicidio en España desde una perspectiva temporal, demográfica y territorial.},
abstract = {This dataset collects information on suicide mortality in Spain between 1998 and 2022, disaggregated by five-year age group and sex. The database has been compiled from official statistics of the National Institute of Statistics (INE). The file consists of two spreadsheets: The “National” sheet presents, for each combination of year, sex and age group, the total number of suicides recorded and the corresponding population at the national level. The “CCAA” sheet expands this information by including the breakdown by autonomous community (CCAA), for the years 1998 to 2021, maintaining the variables of year, sex, age, count and population. The publication of this database aims to facilitate the statistical and epidemiological analysis of suicide in Spain from a temporal, demographic and territorial perspective.},
