abstract = {Investigation and transfer of knowledge are an essential part on the educational task shared
by both professors and researchers member of the Department of Graphical Expression in
Architecture and Engineering (EGAI). Set up in 1985 as one of the biggest departments in
the UGR, with 71 professors and researchers (September 2021), our Department distinguishes
itself by unifying different areas of knowledge similar on its objectives of investigation, such
as: Graphical Expression in Architecture and Building, Graphical Expression in Engineering,
Cartographical Engineering, Geodesy and Photogrammetry and Architectural Projects. It is
this confluence of interests in investigation what lead us to search and promote meeting points,
convergencies and possible multidisciplinary collaboration between them.
The 1st International Seminar on Graphical Investigation Applied to Architecture and Engineering
from the EGAI Department was organized with the aim of promoting conference between
professors and researchers who are compromised with investigation. All of them, without
exception, are invited to participate.
Such participation consists in a brief, concrete exposition of their research(es) to allow the rest
of the Department and also the rest of the educational community to be aware of their research
in progress, their profile as researchers, their membership to a group, project or contract being
developed currently or in the near future.
This Seminar intends to be a break from our educational and researcher tasks, inviting us to
share their work and interest in investigation with the rest of the professors and researchers of
the Department. It is then a moment of gathering and listening to the multiple and different lines
and profiles of investigation which the professors of the Department can offer. This will therefore
allow to know the actual situation of the EGAI Department in terms of investigation and, at the
same time, to stablish new alliances increasing the interest in each investigation, looking into the
future and seeking for new challenges.
That is why, this Seminar is open to all professors and researchers part of the EGAI Department,
as well as all research groups and projects in which they participate, directly or indirectly},
abstract = {La investigación y la transferencia de conocimiento son parte ineludible del quehacer académico
que compartimos los profesores e investigadores que formamos parte del Departamento de
Expresión Gráfica Arquitectónica y en la Ingeniería (EGAI). Constituido en 1985 como uno
de los departamentos más grandes de la UGR, con 71 profesores e investigadores (septiembre
2021), nuestro Departamento se caracteriza por aunar distintas áreas de conocimiento, pero
próximas en sus objetivos de investigación, como son: Expresión Gráfica Arquitectónica en la
Arquitectura y en la Edificación; Expresión Gráfica en la Ingeniería; Ingeniería Cartográfica,
Geodésica y Fotogrametría; y Proyectos Arquitectónicos. Es esta confluencia de intereses
en la investigación la que nos mueve a buscar y fomentar puntos de encuentro entre ellas,
convergencias y posibles colaboraciones de carácter interdisciplinar.
El 1er Seminario Internacional de Investigación Gráfica Aplicada a la Arquitectura e Ingeniería
del Departamento EGAI se convoca con el ánimo de promover el encuentro entre profesores e
investigadores que mantienen un compromiso con la investigación. A todos ellos, sin excepción,
se les convoca para que participen.
Una participación que se cifra en una breve y concisa exposición de su investigación/
investigaciones, que tenga por objetivo dar conocimiento, al resto del Departamento y, aún
más, al resto de la comunidad académica, de su tema de investigación en curso, de su perfil
investigador, de su adscripción a un Grupo, Proyecto o Contrato de investigación que esté en
vías de desarrollo, o próximo a desarrollarse en el inmediato futuro.
Este Seminario pretende ser un momento de pausa en el quehacer diario de nuestra labor docente
e investigadora, invitándonos a compartir, con el resto de profesores e investigadores del
Departamento, su trabajo e interés por la investigación. Se plantea por tanto como un momento
de encuentro para escuchar las múltiples y diferentes líneas y perfiles de investigación que, en
conjunto, ofrecen los profesores y profesoras del Departamento. Lo cual facilitará, en definitiva,
conocer la situación actual de la investigación en el Departamento EGAI y, al mismo tiempo,
establecer alianzas que acrecienten el interés de cada investigación para mirar al futuro en la
búsqueda de nuevos retos.
El Seminario, por estos motivos, se ofrece abierto a todo el profesorado e investigadores que
forman parte del Departamento EGAI y también a los Grupos y Proyectos de investigación en
los que participen, directa o indirectamente, los profesores y profesoras del Departamento.},
