abstract = {La adquisición de la atenuación lingüística como fenómeno variable puede ser uno de los mayores obstáculos con los que se confrontan los aprendices de español como LE. Si bien es cierto que la atenuación verbal en el aula de ELE ha sido objeto de estudio de diversos trabajos, menos atención ha recibido la variación diatópica de este fenómeno en la bibliografía especializada. En este sentido, en el presente trabajo se realiza un acercamiento teórico a la atenuación lingüística y su variación y se propone un planteamiento didáctico a partir del corpus oral PRESEEA (Proyecto para el Estudio Sociolingüístico del Español de España y América) como herramienta para la enseñanza de este concepto variable en ELE, con el fin de que los estudiantes puedan reconocer los diferentes mecanismos mitigadores y tomar conciencia de la variedad diatópica en el uso de la atenuación dentro de la comunidad hispanohablante.},
abstract = {The acquisition of linguistic mitigation as a variable phenomenon may be a significant barrier for learners of Spanish as a foreign language. Although the teaching of verbal mitigation in the class of Spanish as a Foreign Language has already been studied, specialized literature has given limited attention to the diatopic variation of this phenomenon. This paper aims to create a theoretical approach to linguistic attenuation and its variation. A didactic proposal based on the oral corpus PRESEEA (Project for the Sociolinguistic Study of Spanish from Spain and America) is then presented as a tool to teach this variable concept in the Spanish as a Foreign Language lessons. Through this approach, students can recognize the different mitigating mechanisms and become aware of the diatopic variety in the use of mitigation within the Spanish-speaking community.},

grands obstacles rencontrés par les apprenants d’espagnol comme langue étrangère (ELE). S’il est vrai
que l’enseignement de l’atténuation verbale en classe d’ELE a fait l’objet de plusieurs études, la variation
diatopique de ce phénomène a reçu moins d’attention dans la littérature spécialisée. Dans ce sens, une
approche théorique de l’atténuation linguistique et de ses variations est faite et une approche didactique est
proposée sur la base du corpus oral PRESEEA (Projet d’étude sociolinguistique de l’espagnol en Espagne
et en Amérique) en tant qu’outil d’enseignement de ce concept variable, afin que les étudiants puissent
reconnaître les différents mécanismes d’atténuation et prendre conscience de la variété diatopique dans
son utilisation au sein de la communauté hispanophone.},
