The article explains the Andean cosmovision of why the stars are in the sky, why people are on Earth, and how they came to have this form and present location, why the day and the night arose, why the sun is diurnal whereas the Moon and the Stars are nocturnal. It also analyzes the metaphor of regression of the cultural order to the natural order as a result of the rupture of the social rules, explaining the mythical loss of the human condition of transgressors.
