deducir que el televidente y lector tienen en común algunos aspectos. and written message reception display similarities as well as differences.
Both the viewing and the reading audience strike to understand the message of the presenter
and that of the author. It is a process which brings about a dialogue between the speaker or
transmitter and the listener. This has to do with audiovisual communication and visual
communication, or the act of seeing and that of reading. The use of this two means, television
and written material, as well as the type of audience, involved – collective and individual
audience -, explains why there are differences in the way messages are received. Nevertheless,
the socio-cultural nature of the phenomenon of message reception makes it possible, for one
to claim that the televiewer or viewer and the reader display common characteristics.
