Abstract
The main objective of this study is to determine whether there are
gender differences regarding the L2 vocabulary learning process which students completed
on a Web-based platform. This investigation was conducted with a group of students
leaning Spanish as an L2 at university level in Texas (n= 18). Qualitative and
quantitative analyses indicate that the Web-based activities for vocabulary learning
would favor the male population having a «gender effect».
