Resumen
In this article, six documents about King Peter I, called
the Cruel, are published. They are in the Capitular Library
and Archive of the Cathedral of Cordoba, and cover the
years between 1350 and 1350 and 1364. They are written
in Medieval Spanish and deals with the subjects in relationship
to the Diocese of Cordoba and Jaén; that is, the
designation of chaplains and other members for the Royal
Chapel of Cordoba, the confirmation of privileges granted to
the Cathedral of Cordoba (especially to the lawyers by Saint
Fernando and Alfonso XI), the collection of "alcabalas" and
"almojarifazgos" in the Bishopric of Cordoba and Jaén, and,
finally, the frustated leasehold of the royal incomes of those
bishoprics to two important Jews.
