Estructura del borde meridional de la Zona Centroibérica y su relación con el contacto entre las Zonas Centroibérica y de Ossa-Morena

Se establecen por primera vez y de forma coherente la estructura, cinemática y edad de las deformaciones geológicas reconocidas en el borde meridional de la zona centroiberica. la evolucion preordovicica consiste en las discordancias cadomiense, intraalcudiense y sardica, y se estudia geoquimicamente el magmatismo finiprecambrico. Las deformaciones variscas se integran en un modelo de evolucion del limite entre las zonas centroiberica y de ossa-morena, que incluye tres etapas. Una precarbonifera de engrosamiento cortical produce grandes pliegues tumbados vergentes al ne con un cizallamiento simple ductil asociado. durante el carbonífero inferior se produce una extensión hacia el n, con componente lateral izquierda; en este contexto se explican la sedimentación sinogenica de facies "culm" y el magamtismo existente. Durante el carbonífero medio tiene lugar la inversión de las estructuras previas, produciéndose un cabalgamiento hacia el ne de la unidad de pliegues tumbados y, posteriormente, un reapretamiento de toda la región mediante pliegues levantados
