Uso de la proteína Masp52 para el diagnóstico, el tratamiento y la prevención de la enfermedad de Chagas. Se propone el uso de la proteína Masp52, de la familia MASP (Mucin associated Surface proteins) para el diagnóstico, el tratamiento y la prevención de la enfermedad de Chagas, incluyendo un método de detección de la presencia del parásito T. cruzi en un individuo, un método de obtención de datos útiles para el diagnóstico de la enfermedad de Chagas y un kit de diagnóstico que comprende los elementos necesarios para analizar la cantidad de proteína Masp52 en una muestra biológica.
