Aunque la familia sufrio cambios sustanciales, fruto de las nuevas coyunturas políticas, sociales, religiosas y culturales, sin embargo la definición mostrada por Ulpiano podía ser adaptada en cualquier siglo de la Historia del Derecho Romano y su recepción. Indeed, although the family suffered substantial changes as the result of the new political, social, religiosus and cultural situations, however the definition of family shown by Ulpian could be adapted in any century of history of Roman Law and its reception.
