abstract = {Une expérience républicaine au bilan mitigé (1931-1936) prend brutalement fin en Espagne
après cinq ans de tension continue. S’en suit une guerre civile (1936-1939) qui liquide le roman social pour
laisser la place à une manifestation moderne du roman de chevalerie grâce à des écrivains nationalistes
passionnés au service du franquisme (1939-1975). Dans la dynamique de ce retour aux sources littéraires, le
roman de chevalerie ayant fait les beaux jours des lettres hispaniques au XVIe siècle avant d’être supplanté au
XVIIe par le roman picaresque, les toutes premières dissensions au sein de la Génération 40 font appel à
l’esprit du picaro exemplaire. On passera alors d’un picarisme de la terreur ou de la misère morale
caractérisé par une apocalypsisation délibérée de la matière sociale à un picarisme des classes sociales ou des
masses qui substituera la critique à la terreur et au sordide.},
abstract = {A republican experience with mixed results (1931-1936) takes an abrupt end in Spain after five
years of continuous tension. Follows a civil war (1936-1939) that liquid the social novel to give way to a
modern manifestation of the chivalric romance with passionate nationalist writers in the service of the
Franco regime (1939-1975). In the dynamics of this return to the literary sources, the romance of chivalry
having the heyday of Spanish letters in the sixteenth century before being supplanted in the seventeenth by
picaresque novel, the first all divisions within the Generation 40 involve the spirit of exemplary pícaro. We
will then pass from a picarism of terror or moral misery characterized by deliberate apocalyptisation of
social matter to a picarism of classes or masses that replace terror and sordid by the critical.},
