abstract = {La concepción del matrimonio en época arcaica es totalmente diferente a la de épocas posteriores. Concretamente, esta institución no tenía vida por sí misma porque estaba absorbida o refundida con otras como los esponsales y la conventio in manum. De ahí que, las definiciones contenidas en las fuentes jurídicas sobre el matrimonio, hagan alusión a una etapa histórica muy evolucionada cuando el matrimonio se fue desvinculando de la conventio in manum,  transformándose en una relación paritaria basada en la voluntad de los cónyuges de ser recíprocamente marido y mujer, mediante ese consentimiento continuado de la affectio maritalis y su forma de manifestarlo a través del honor matrimonii, tal y como se puede apreciar a partir de la época clásica.},
abstract = {The conception of marriage in archaic period is totally different from the later periods. Specifically, this institution had no life itself because it was absorbed or consolidated with others such as the betrothal and the conventio in manum. Hence, the definitions contained in the legal marriage sources, make allusion to a very advanced historical stage when marriage was unlinking of the conventio in manum, transforming into a joint relationship based on the will of the spouses reciprocally be husband and wife, through that continued from the affectio consent maritalis and the way they express it through the honor declamatio, as you can see from the classical period.},
