abstract = {En este artículo, nos proponemos aportar algunos elementos para el estudio de la métrica árabe y su utilización en la poesía granadina del siglo XIV. Estudiando la producción poética de nueve poetas de dicho siglo, hemos podido comprobar que la elección de los metros poéticos se diferenciaba ligeramente de los poetas árabes anteriores a esta época. La elección misma dependía ante todo del género poético, de la intención del poeta y tambien del tema escogido. Apoyando este estudio con algunos datos estadísticos, hemos demostrado que el poeta granadino respetaba, más o menos, la relación que hay en la poesía árabe entre ciertos géneros poéticos y algunos metros de la prosodia árabe. Por esta razón, nos parece que la innovación en este terreno era improbable, a pesar de algunas tentativas tímidas logradas por poetas como Ibn al-Jatib e Ibn Jatima.},
abstract = {The purpose of this article is to present some factors for the study of the Arabic metrics and its use in fourteenth century Grenadian poetry. After studying the poetic works of nine of the XIV century poets, we could emphasize that their choice of the poetic metrics was slightly different from the choice of the Arabic poets of the preceding epochs. Such selection was mainly based on the genre of poetry, on the poet's intentions, and on the poet's choice of subject. While supporting this study with some statistical figures, we have shown that the Granadian poet respected, more or less, the relation which existed in the Arabian poetry among some poetic genres and some metrics of Arabian prosody. Hence, it seems that innovation in this field was improbable in spite of some cautions attempts by poets like Ibn al-Jatib and Ibn Jatima.},
