Even though the Project- Based Learning (PBL) is a methodology which has its origins some years ago, it was not until the last years when it has been recognized. This method is based on the idea that the pupil learns knowledge interacting with the world around him/her, in other words, with reality. The aim of this work is to see whether learners become more motivated through this method as well as whether they learn new knowledge and know how to apply it to daily life situations, leaving in the background the memorization of the knowledge acquired and prioritising learning to do. As regards the results of the application of this methodology, it is worth highlighting an increase in the pupils’ interest through the course of the project and the development of their autonomy; it is remarkable the fact that they have enhanced oral and written production considerably. In terms of teaching, PBL is a practice which requires dedication and it is very time-consuming, due to the elaboration of didactic materials and the motivation of the students. The teacher’s role as a guide rather than a transmitter of knowledge should be noted. 2017-05-09T06:35:51Z 2017-05-09T06:35:51Z 2017-05-09 2016-06 info:eu-repo/semantics/bachelorThesis http://hdl.handle.net/10481/46260 spa http://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-nc-nd/3.0/ Creative Commons Attribution-NonCommercial-NoDerivs 3.0 License
