We present in this article a miscellany of historical information about the economy of the ancient Nasri realm of Granada (12,32- 1492) proceeding from Moslem authours (Himyari, Yaqut, Idrisi, Ibn al-Jatib and others, especially the compiled texts by Simonet and Marmol Carvajal). These texts, in some cases contrast with the testimonies of Christian sources. We fallow the administrative Nasri distribution in the pro. vinces or "coras" of Bayyanna (Almeria), Rayya (Malaga) and Elbira (Granada). And we could point out the following pro. ductions : of Marble in Nijar and Lanjar6n, Lead in Berja, Zinc Oxide in Paterna and Salobreña, Textiles and Brocades in Abla and Almeria, Olive-oil in the Ajarquía, wheat in Málaga, cattle in the Serrania of Ronda, fishing in the coastal provinces (such as sardines from Marbella), sugar in Almuñecar and Salobreña, saltworks in Málaga, and the production of Olive-oil, Silk, Fruits and other products in general. There are records that some taxes were paid in kind (such as Silk, "alazor", and Oil). 2014-01-31T11:40:18Z 2014-01-31T11:40:18Z 1975 info:eu-repo/semantics/article Torres Delgado, C.
