From the perspective of the ontology of the present, this text aims to consider the possibility of “technologies of the world”, in correlation with the “technologies of the self”, that are responsible for the care of the singular events that define our present, threatened by forces homogenizing the world and able to close or compact it. By contrast, the world is that in which "it may open an outside" (J.-L. Nancy). It analyzes the nature of this apparatus, that is, eventual consistency, mobile and singular, exposition space that could be addressed in therapy of the ills of the present, but also a constant source of danger of the no-world. The "absolute sovereignty" (J. Patočka) of finite life prevents a definitive health or safe for the world. Philosophy as therapy finds its space here: a battle against the world in the world, whose task is to prevent the cessation of movement of existence, precisely what constitutes the world as such. The analysis of contemporary (G. Agamben) as space of ontological genesis, place of coincidence the real-present and nothingness that makes the world, suggests a form of relation to reality that transfigured it from itself, such as the "painter of modern life," studied by Foucault, in the exercise of a practice of freedom that, at the same time, respects and violates reality. Finally, we present an overview of the proposal of philosophy as pharmacology, conducted by the French philosopher Bernard Stiegler. 2012-03-15T13:17:17Z 2012-03-15T13:17:17Z 2011 info:eu-repo/semantics/bookPart Higuera Espín, J. de la.
