El pensar y la historia

Abstract

En el artículo se presentan algunas reflexiones acerca de la relación entre el pensar filosófico y la historia. Se concretan en tres puntos: 1) La concepción «tradicional» de la filosofía parece ser hostil a la historia. 2) Pero el desarrollo mismo del pensar ha ido haciendo necesaria la referencia a lo histórico, especialmente en el período de la filosofía llamado «modernidad». Parece necesario repensar la concepción del pensar o de la filosofía. 3) De entre las posibles maneras de hacerlo en el trabajo se hace referencia a dos: Una, la representada por la reflexión de Habermas. Otra, la alternativa sugerida por la obra de Merleau-Ponty.

In the article some reflections are presented about the relationship between philosophical thought and the history. They are summed up in three points: 1) The «traditional» conception of philosophy seems to be hostile towards history. 2) However, the very development of thought has made reference to the historical necessary, especially in the period of philosophy called «modernity». It is necessary to rethink the concept of thought or of philosophy. 3) Among the possible ways of doing this we make reference to two: The first is represented by the reflections of Habermas. The second is the alternative suggested by the work of Merleau-Ponty.
