¿Cómo considerar la antropología una herramienta mediadora entre culturas?

Abstract

Se presenta una perspectiva general y una breve reflexión de lo que la antropología social y cultural puede aportar al estudio de la globalización y su influencia en las culturas, más concretamente el papel que ésta puede tener en el llamado "diálogo entre culturas" como herramienta mediadora para el entendimiento. Todo ello a través de una serie de ideas concretas y claras, sin pretender exponer grandes teorías y debates sobre el tema.

Here, we present an overview and brief reflection on what both social and cultural anthropology can add to the study of globalization. Moreover, it has taken into account their influences on cultures and more specifically the role that Anthropology plays in the "dialogue between cultures" as a tool to reach an understanding. All this has been framed with some basic and clear ideas, without the intention of laying out great theories or sparking heated debates about this current subject.
