El lugar y lugares de la escritura etnográfica latinoamericana

Abstract

En el marco de la modernidad y todas las discusiones alrededor de las limitaciones, alcances y perspectivas de esta, la antropología presenta unas características particulares, que se revisaran a continuación a partir del examen de la etnografía y desde esta perspectiva, se intentará clarificar que es eso de la etnografía latinoamericana, su existencia real y/o utópica y, cuales serían de existir, sus principales características; para tales efectos, tomaré como presupuesto fundamental de lo moderno la emergencia de la crítica para articular alrededor de esta una serie de etnografías, a partir de las cuales será posible establecer como rasgo distintivo de una etnografía latinoamericana, la emergencia de un conglomerado de cambios fundamentales que abarcan el surgimiento de un nuevo sujeto de conocimiento, la crítica a la escritura etnográfica y sus implicaciones disciplinarias, vitales y filosóficas en el contexto de la modernidad.

Within the framework of modernity and all the discussions around the limitations, reach, and perspective of this, Anthropology presents particular characteristics that were reviewed through the examination of the ethnography. From this perspective, an effort will be made to clarity that it is that of Latin American ethnography, its existence real and utopic and, which of them would exist, their main characteristics. For this, I will take as a fundamental supposition of modern times the emergence of the critic to articulate this series of ethnographies, from which it will be possible to establish as the distinguishing characteristic of a Latin American ethnography, the emergency of a conglomerate of fundamental changes that encompass the sprouting of a new subject of knowledge- the disciplinary critic of ethnographic writing and its implications, which is vital and philosophical in the context of modernity.
