Repliegue sobre el cuerpo

Abstract

Este trabajo aborda la administración del miedo heredado de la dictadura militar en Chile (1973-1989). Siguiendo los planteamientos del filósofo italiano Giorgio Agamben propone explorar el vínculo que se edifica entre la construcción arquetípica del terrorista -en cuanto sujeto depositario de la soberanía dictatorial-, y el delincuente común, en tanto fantasma social del período actual. La tesis que se propone plantea que mediante la administración imaginario social de la tortura política, los gobiernos de la posdictadura elaboran una pedagogía represiva que prescinde de la violencia física sobre el cuerpo para modelar su gestualidad.

This work treats the administration of fear inherited from the military dictatorship in Chile (1973-1989). Following the approach of the Italian philosopher Giorgio Agamben, it proposes to explore the link between the archetypal conformation of the terrorist -as the trusted subject of dictatorial sovereignty- and the common criminal, as a social phantom of the present. The thesis proposed holds that by the imaginary social administration of political torture, post-dictatorial governments formulate a repressive pedagogy that dispenses with physical violence against the body to modulate its gesturing.
