La originalidad musical del flamenco: libertad creativa y sometimiento a cánones

Abstract

Cuando oímos música flamenca, “nace una corriente, emana un magnetismo que impregna la atmósfera como un fluido” (Gobin, 1975: 107). Proponemos aquí realizar una caracterización de la música y del baile flamenco en términos de estética. Para ello nos inspiraremos principalmente en el ya citado Alain Gobin, cuyo libro publicado en 1975, es tan sugerente como por desgracia ignorado en las reflexiones posteriores sobre música, baile y estética en el flamenco.
