El manual de lengua árabe Al-Kitāb fī taʻallum al-ʻarabiyya. Estudio, análisis y comparación con otros métodos de enseñanza

Abstract

Los 800 años de ocupación árabe y la gran cantidad de inmigrantes arabófonos a España dejan clara la gran influencia que tiene la lengua de los omeyas en nuestro país, en nuestra lengua y cultura. Sin embargo, la enseñanza de esta lengua en las universidades de nuestro país no se aborda correctamente y este artículo pretende analizar por qué y dar posibles soluciones, teniendo como referencia su presencia en la Universidad de Granada. Los objetivos principales de esta investigación son aportar el punto de vista de alumnos de árabe y mostrar que es posible mejorar la metodología actual. Metodología: Para llevar a cabo esta investigación, se hará una comparación exhaustiva del libro que se utiliza actualmente en esta universidad, Al-Kitaab fii taʻallum al-ʻArabiyya y otros dos métodos escogidos, a través de un análisis de los ocho primeros temas de esta obra. Para ello, se expondrá la situación de la enseñanza del árabe en la actualidad, se destacarán los posibles fallos de la metodología utilizada y se ofrecerá una serie de soluciones, tales como el aumento de las horas lectivas o la instauración de un curso inicial intensivo, exclusivamente dirigido al aprendizaje de la lengua.

Abstract: The Arabic language has great influence over Spanish language and culture because of the Moorish occupation of the Iberian Peninsula during 800 years and the current immigration to Spain from Arabic countries. However, the teaching of this language over Spanish universities is not successful enough and the aim of this article is to say why and to propose possible solutions to this regarding the teaching of this language in the University of Granada. The main objectives of this research are giving the opinion of students of Arabic about the current teaching system and proving that improving the current teaching methods of Arabic is possible. Methodology: In order to carry out this research, the book which is currently used in this university, Al-Kitaab fii taʻallum al-ʻArabiyya, will be compared to other two books of Arabic by using the analysis of the first eight units of Al-Kitaab. In addition, the current situation of the teaching of Arabic will be explained and the possible mistakes of this methodology will be highlighted. This will be followed by a bunch of possible solutions such as the increase of hours of teaching or the establishment of an intensive course of Arabic.
