The general objective of this work was to study the physiological function of the Arabidopsis thaliana AtKEA1 and AtKEA2 proteins. For this purpose we have analyzed the phenotypes of single and double T-DNA knock-out mutants, determined the subcellular location of AtKEA2 and studied the function of AtKEA2 N-terminal domain by heterologous expression in yeast and by bioinformatics approaches. This general objective was developed through the following specific objectives:es_ES
