Salir del aula: prácticas docentes alternativas para el grado en Bellas Artes

Abstract

La práctica docente en el ámbito de las Bellas Artes tiene un amplio campo de acción debido al carácter interdisciplinar y globalizador de sus enseñanzas. Formamos al alumnado a nivel técnico y conceptual en gran medida mediante estímulos sensoriales que se contextualizan en el marco de determinadas disciplinas como la pintura de paisaje o la interpretación plástica del cuerpo humano (dibujo, retrato, etc.) con el fin de racionalizar y conducir el conocimiento adquirido hacia la materialización de obras de arte. En este sentido creemos fundamental la experiencia fuera del aula para conocer, experimentar y valorar el entorno que ha de ser en muchas ocasiones motivo de reflexión estética. En este artículo haremos referencia a determinadas actividades que se realizan, desde distintas asignaturas, para establecer contacto directo con la naturaleza, la ciudad y sus habitantes. Talleres de pintura o dibujo al aire libre, excursiones y paseos, entrevistas y contactos con el elemento humano de la ciudad o exposiciones en ámbitos públicos del trabajo del alumnado, son recursos docentes alternativos que completan y mejoran el aprendizaje.

Teaching practice in the context of Fine Arts offers a vast field of action given the interdisciplinary and globalizing character of the training. We focus on the technical and conceptual education of our students by encouraging sensorial perception in the context of landscape painting or in the interpretation of the human body through drawing and portrait. Our goal is to rationalize acquired knowledge and carry it through to artistic production. In this regard, working outside the classroom is crucial in order to experience and value the surroundings which very often turn into elements for aesthetic thought. In this article, we will describe certain activities which take place on several courses with the aim of establishing direct contact with nature, the city and its inhabitants. Alternative teaching resources which complete and improve the learning process of the students include painting and drawing workshops in the open air, daytrips and walks, interviews and contact with human elements of the city, and exhibitions of the students' work in public spaces.
