Juan Ciudad, un personaje ilustre por Granada : itinerario didáctico cultural

Abstract

De la mano del ilustre personaje del siglo XVI, Juan Ciudad, se propone un itinerario didáctico cultural por las calles de Granada, donde el alumno de sexto curso de Educación Primaria podrá conocer y experimentar el patrimonio artístico cultural de su ciudad y averiguar quién fue esta figura, qué hechos se le atribuyen en la Granada de la época donde la sanidad y la medicina no estaban desarrolladas y por qué su persona sigue siendo tan admirada y venerada en la actualidad. A través de un aprendizaje significativo se trabajará temas transversales tales como la educación en valores, muy demandada en la sociedad y en los centros educativos hoy en día, entre otros temas. La visita guiada y el recorrido organizado, por las calles de su ciudad, hará que los discentes se acerquen de una forma atractiva y divertida a la historia que envuelve a Granada; conociendo, valorando, respetando y difundiendo más conscientemente el patrimonio local.

By the hand of an important public figure of the 16th century, John Cidade, we propose an educational and cultural tour through the streets of Granada where six grade students, could know, and feel their city cultural and artistic heritage. They would be able to find out who this character was, what he did in Granada in those days in which health and medicine were not developed, and why he is still an important public figure in our city nowadays. Through a significant learning it would be possible to work different transversal themes such as human values, which are so important in education and in our society nowadays, among others. This tour through the city streets will make students come closer to the history of Granada in an attractive and pleasant way; knowing, valuing, and respecting consciously their local heritage.
