dc.description.abstractLa firma es considerada como un indicador fiable de los niveles de alfabetización de cualquier grupo social. En este estudio examinamos la presencia de firmas en caracteres arábigos en la documentación notarial de la zona de Baza (Granada) entre 1511 y 1526, considerando diversos aspectos en torno a las mismas de tipo histórico, diplomático y gráfico. Dicho estudio se halla encuadrado dentro de la serie acometida por los autores destinada a perfilar el panorama general de la cultura escrita y la alfabetización de la población del reino granadino en el siglo XVI.es_ES
dc.description.abstractThe signature is considered a very reliable sign of the levels of literacy in any social group. In this study we examine the presence of signatures in Arabic in notarial documents in the area of Baza (Granada) between 1511 and 1526, considering several historical, diplomatic and graphic aspects. This study is part of a series developed by the authors to give a general panorama of the written culture and the level of literacy of the population of the kingdom of Granada in the XVIth century.es_ES
