Abstract

Este artículo recoge la transcripción, traducción y edición de los folios 21vº-26rº del Kitāb muŷarrabāt al-jawāṣṣ, de Abū l-'Alā' Zuhr, según el manuscrito 520 de la Biblioteca Bodleian de Oxford, e incluye las peculiaridades y características del burro, la avutarda, la serpiente, el lagarto, el gavilán, el camaleón, la ballena, la coloqUíntida, los garbanzos, el loto, el hierro, el tríbulo y el guijarro. El texto, como la obra en general, posee grandes dosis de curanderismo.

This article contains the transcription, translation and edition of the folios 2lv.º-26r.º of Abū l-'Alā' Zuhr's, Kitāb muŷarrabāt al-jawāṣṣ, according to the 520th manuscript from Bodleian Library in Oxford and endoses the peculiarities and features ofthe donkey, the bustard, the snake, the lizard, the sparrow hawk, the chameleon, the whale, the colocynth, the chick-pea, the lotus, the iron, the tribulus and the pebble. The text, as well as the work in the whole, holds a big dose of quackery.
