Entre ocupar y habitar. Una revisión historiográfica sobre mujeres y universidad en España

Abstract

Hacemos un balance de la producción sobre las mujeres universitarias en España entre finales del siglo XIX y los años 70 del siglo XX, aquellas mujeres que progresivamente fueron ocupando las aulas de los institutos y universidades y los correspondientes espacios profesionales para los que las capacitaban las titulaciones obtenidas. La producción analizada,al mismo tiempo, se presenta como ejemplo de cómo las profesoras e investigadoras de la Universidad española actual han comenzado a habitar el espacio al convertirse en creadoras de conocimiento.

We give a precise assessment of the scientific production about university women in Spain between the end of the 19th century up until the 70s. Those women little by little, occupied classroom seats in universities and institutes and their own professional spaces about their received qualifications. The production analyzed, at the same time, is an example of how the female professors and investigators of the present Spanish university system have begun to inhabit the university space when they, in turn, have become creators of knowledge.
