Espacio, tiempo y encuentro. Etnografía del lugar universitario

Abstract

Este texto plantea encontrar los conceptos que explicarían la practica universitaria, así como sus discursos y narrativas, en definitiva, los dispositivos que hacen de este espacio-tiempo una idea de institución. Basándome en una etnografía de la Universidad de Jaén, contrapongo la idea de que en últimos tiempos la universidad ha variado de una revolucionaria idea de lugar para el encuentro-desencuentro del saber-poder a un espacio, definitivamente arquitectónico, para la educación superior, íntimamente ligado a la idea de saber-capital.

This paper endeavours to find the concepts that explain college practices and their discourses and narratives -in short, the devices that make this space-time idea an institution. Based on an ethnography of the University of Jaén, I challenge the idea that in recent years the university has changed from being a revolutionary place for the meeting-mismatch of knowledge-power to an architecturally definitely space for higher education, closely linked the idea of knowledge-capital.
