Listar Grupo: La filosofía como terapia social (FFI2009-12218) por financiación "The aim of this article is to make a genealogy of that passion which is the fear to death in the sense to determine if this one agrees or not to our nature. Therefore, the epicurean argument will be analyzed and related with Lucretius, who uses it to demonstrate it is irrational to fear to death. Besides, it shows the critic that M. C. Nussbaum does about this argument and her coherent development of a naturalist therapy of that passion. In the second part, Spinoza elaborates an antidote against the fear based on joy. After reading this book, the conclusion is that the fear is a limit, nevertheless, it makes possible the existence of human values."
