abstract = {La magnitud de los daños sufridos por los bombardeos sistemáticos durante la Segunda Guerra Mundial conllevó a la ruina de los centros históricos de las ciudades afectadas. La destrucción tuvo como consecuencia la crisis de los principios de restauración aceptados por la crítica de forma genérica hasta 1945. La restauración arquitectónica, entendida ya como disciplina autónoma, moderna y actualizada, se vería afectada por una profunda renovación de la práctica totalidad de sus principios teóricos que dieron como consecuencia el entendimiento “crítico” de la restauración que actualmente sigue vigente. El texto trata de dos casos paradigmáticos en la reconstrucción de la posguerra europea, estableciendo paralelismos con el resto de Europa, incluso con España. Berlín se caracteriza por la búsqueda de una nueva identidad en su reconstrucción; mientras Múnich buscó la tradición y conservación de sus referentes históricos.},
abstract = {The extent of the damage suffered by the systematic bombing during World War II led to the ruin of the historic centers of the cities affected. The destruction led to the crisis restoration principles accepted by critics in general terms until 1945. The architectural restoration, understood as an autonomous discipline, modern and updated, would be affected by a major renovation of almost all of its theoretical principles which gave as a result the "critical" understanding, currently remains. The text is two paradigmatic cases in the European post-war reconstruction, drawing parallels with the rest of Europe, even in Spain. Berlin is characterized by the search for a new identity in the reconstruction, while Munich sought the tradition and conservation of historical references.},
